Reporting counterfeit ebay items

I came across a DTI on ebay listed as Mitutoyo but clearly isn't, reported it as counterfeit about 4 weeks ago but is still online, still listed as Mitutoyo, even sold one since I reported.

Anyone had any luck with the report feature on ebay?

If eBay removed every counterfeit item it has advertised wouldn't have much left to sell.

Yep they don’t take the fake car sales adverts off anymore

I didn't buy it, not really my problem but don't like to see others being ripped off, the same ones are less than 1/2 on aliexpress, looks like this ebay seller is drop shipping.

I think most people would think that was a fake as there isnt any naming on the indicator, and looks like its from the far east, so Id be suspicious.

I've got a proper fake, its the same part number but branded as Mitutogo

I recently got some radio controlled servos that were fake, (which I knew), told the supplier the description was wrong (I was happy with what I recieved) and they sent me $5 in compensaion, which was nearly half of my order (£13 for 5) and they did amend the description the remove the line that said they had ball bearing in them (as they didnt).

As the seller is in the UK you could report them to Trading Standards. A knock on the door might give them a scare
