As mentioned in one of my other threads, we are putting stables into one of our barns. The sides of two of the walls need boarding and I am getting my ply terminology confused.
What would be best for this purpose - Resin coated, tanalised, hardwood faced or marine ply and what is the real difference between them (I can figure out what the hardwood faced is but don't know how the other three really differ)?
The sides will be exposed to the horses, so a bit of muck, straw and the odd splash of fluid - but they wont be continually immersed in anything or exposed to rain etc. They will also not be at floor level as the bottom of the barn wall is concrete 'foundation' that sits above the floor level. You can see the back wall in the pic below - the panels will be fastened to the two lower cross beams and sit on top of the concrete footing.
