Respirator cleaning.

Just ordered a 3M 7502 and 2138 filters for welding. Been looking at 3M 105 face seal cleaning wipes and they look a little expensive for my tastes. Any reason why I can't use alcohol free disinfectant wipes? Any other ideas that won't break the bank.

Any wet wipe you can use on your skin will be fine on a respirator.

Thanks Parm. Perhaps I was over thinking it. Sure I read somewhere that anything with lanolin was a no no. Also thought alcohol free was essential. I'll go with the wet wipes as Poundland and Wilko both have large packs.

I use cheap baby wipes. Handy for getting them grime off yourself as well
