Quick review of my "cheapest metal shears on Amazon" purchase.

I went for the 200mm set.
The reason I bought this is that I want to be able to cut sheet without having to use tin snips, or using the angle grinder, due to noise.
As expected, rough and ready, and e.g the tube "handle" has walls that are very thin, but for my hobby use it isn't too bad. The actual shears look good.
Capacity-wise, it is very happy munching through up to 1.5mm steel. I have cut 2mm steel sheet with it too, but it really feels like you are abusing it doing that.
I have it bolted to my work table, and I reckon bolting it down is a must, as otherwise it moves around as you pull the handle, which means that your cuts are never straight.
For the 35 pounds, including delivery, I am very happy, but it's not a professional tool. I think it will stand up ok to my "light use in hobby work shop" scenario, but probably not for heavy use.
A similar looking one can be found on eBay for about 26 pounds.
