rivnut setting tool

Can anyone recommend a half decent rivnut setting tool.
I forgot the first time I used my cheapo one it broke.
Of course I went to use it today and it no workie!

they look the same as the machine mart clarke ones

i suspect they are similar. i have put hundreds of rivnuts in with the long arm ones, and dozens with the short arm ones. the long arm can do everything the short arm can except get in tighter spaces.

that was the reason I purchased this crappy right angle one for a tight space! after they broke I used a bolt washer and nut!

I cheated and did similar with my m12 ratchet but may have pulled one a little too much!

Yeah easy done! I put the rivnut on the tool tighten the bolt head finger tight until it just protrudes, stick it in the hole and ratchet spanner the nut up, not too tight!
I replace the bolt and nut when they get tired.

I have one that looks similar to this (but more robust), set hundreds of rivenuts with it.

The design is OK, just seems yours is a bit poor quality unfortunately.

That’s to m10 but you can get m12 dies for them.
