I get that way sometimes.
Caterpillar tracks and rams. is he going to be armed; ray guns? missiles?
Am I being thick here, have his arms been fitted, or is that his mighty torso?
How about a dremel or thin cutting disc to give him/her? a mouth.
Problem with a mouth is it's one of things that if it goes wrong it is permanent.

Bend some combination spanners for arms with the open end for hands/claws. You could put bolts through the ring end so he can be posed.
If you open your eyes theres so many things that could be used to build characters like that, your an artist this piece proves it. Keep it up mate you got a great eye

Spark plugs? too fat and get a bit overused in my book.

Just looked at push rods, look good, rose joints? thingummy wotsits, you know the ones with an oojah on the end or those doohdads are cool. Widgits?
Working at this scale it is hard to find the right bits, but a least you can store them in a few boxes under the bench. I always want to steal rocker arms whenever I see them. I love all these tiny beautiful engineering bits.
Some shock linkages look very muscular.
Just been browsing google images looking at mechanisms. Very distracting.
You will find the right bits, if you are lucky they come in pairs. A good elbow I have used is to weld a nut onto a piece of plain bar, make large filets on the weld then grind them back and it looks like an organic mechanical thingythat might have grown.

i have some bar i also have some of these parts from a set of old air shears was think of using the rotor as a big gun type thing on one arm only thin is the rotor blades ar plastic , widgets do you mean woodruff keys?

Never seen one. They are a bit like thingy wotsits
One thing to be careful of is chopping up useful things to get the nice bits off them, it can be sooo hard when you see just the thing holding your camshaft in place or whatever.

Almost as bad as finding your young sons have cut a foot off your three foot straight edge to cobble something or other up
Yes they did reach their next birthdays...........................just.
