Has anybody heard of or still use Rockweld rods? We bought a ton of 6013's years ago after trying a pack of them. I have used dam near every brand over the years but never found any as smooth to use. We also used 6mm iron powder rods and im sure they were Rockweld as well. I'd love to get another load if nebody knows of them

Rockweld are long gone. If I remember correctly they became part of Arcos who themselves were taken over by Esab
They had one called V115 (I think) which was retained as a brand but not made in the original factory.

something tells me they were south african?
yip early 90's it wasI remember rockweld. Used to buy them at engineering and welding supplies, Sheffield. Probably early 90's.
