Rockworth Compressor changing belt

Hi I have a Rockworth Compressor and the belt snapped. I have a replacement belt but I cannot see how it fits on to the thing.

The Compressor says its a Monza OL 196 Nutool UK

Currently it looks like this after taking the cover & base off






Any help appreciated

oh the belt is a Megadyne tb2-310 single piece solid rubber thing.

Welcome to the forum.

You're going to have to seperate the con-rod from the flywheel or remove the piston and loop the belt over the conrod.

For anyone else whos wondering how to change the belt.
You need to take off the cylinder head then undo the screw in the piston that holds the valve plate.
Now remove the valve plate and piston ring.
You can now push the cylinder liner up (if the gasket is still there it will push it up) and remove it allowing you to fit the belt.
