No welding on this - more a trial run.
I just cut the patterns from aluminium printing plate (scissors ),
bent to shape by hand.
threaded onto a piece of stripped copper wire, and held on with a blob of solder.
scrappy tomorrow for some copper or stainless sheet.

Copper version made today...
£220 for a 44KG roll of copper sheet.

I bought an A4 sized piece for a couple of quid.

Surprisingly, this looks *worse* in the pics than in reality.
The camera made the first one look better...

£220 for 44kg of copper? Yes please! I think that's well below scrap prices.

I'd love to see a 'how-to' on these roses. I've got loads of scrap left over from the wave and I'm not starting my next big project for a few weeks.

gonna leave as is.

selling at £5 a kg.

"How to" is easy.
d/load attached file. print. cut out. trace around cutouts onto your copper/aluminium/steel.
cut out.
drill a hole in middle of each piece.
thread onto a piece of bar/wire, folding each up in turn and soldering on - starting with smallest piece

I printed two copies out, and made a mock up with the paper to test it out.

can't do the iridescents. solder melts when I try.
I had a pig of a job soldering it, cos I don't have a soldering gun.
Used the gas stove
