so today I’ve removed & dismantled a tree trunk turner,it sits in the bed of a horizontal bandsaw(3),hydraulic/ electrical powered,they make turning 10 ton tree trunks easy,this one had a cracked bearing housing which I think was down to a bent chain bar,so straitened,drill an oversize hole where a thread had pulled,weld in an insert,re drill & tap & assemble,then refit into saw bed.
