Hi I was wondering if you run a compressor of a genset dose it damage the motor?
So if I used a generator with enough amps for the start up would it be ok?
the Compressor is only a 1.6hp and from what I can remember it has 6.3 cfm
Woof!
Woof!
Nothing to apologise about Bucko.
Here - how come you're in the states then?
Sorry I forgot to mention we are running on 120 v over here
so that means 1800 watt that aint a bad size genset and there cheep here
but what I was worried about was how the currant from the generator can fluctuate wat i was not shore about was if the pulsing would affect the motors life
now i know how to work out the wattage i need i will look in to the prices a little more.
only if my my physics teacher explained it using welders and compressors it might of made sence lol
mind you if they that cheap buy a larger one and run a welder...
i can get an All Power America 6000 W 13 HP OHV propane generator for $899.99 and if i shop around i can probly get one cheeper
