So I have the choice of using 2k epoxy brushed (mixed 1/1 so really thin) or rustoleum combcolor on the interior steel of my mini floor pans, bulkhead etc, everything thats going to be carpeted or covered basically. The rest will all be painted properly with 2k colour.
This is only a consideration as the steel isn't perfect, there's some rust pits I can't get out, rust in the seams, standard old car situation... my thoughts are if I use combicolor I can always rework it later if it goes brown and horrible... wire brush it off and bodge cover it again... not ideal I know but we live within our means! It'll be thicker than the epoxy 1.1 to help resist wear from the carpets and feet etc and the car will never see the rain anyway, plus its all under carpets, am I totally wrong in my thinking?
