Knocked this up from stuff I had lying around plus some tambourine “jingles” I bought on EBay.
Works perfectly but sounds quite weak, it really needs to be made of hardwood rather than a bit of old bed.

Needs a nice finish too. Not a bad prototype though.

I once built a guitar, real thing, copy of a Gibson flying V. Rosewood fretboard and everything. Amazingly it played well enough that a band memberof quite a good local band asked if he could borrow it for a gig. Of course I said yes as I was quite flattered, naturally that was the weekend the bands van got broken into, I always wondered about that guitar......
