Save Phace - Gen X DOA helmet - only 10 shade?

Hey all,

Ive seen this helmet on the internet for a good price, it looks really good but the shade is only 3/10 rather than the usual 9/13 i keep seeing.

Would i have problems using this helmet for certain jobs?

Depends on what welder/amps you are using...higher the amps you use darker the shade......what is the uk price?$179 is not cheap....

That helmet is a fixed shade 10; with a clear shade of 3. NOT adjustable shade lens.

Well spotted Gord.....sif helmet from weldquip is only £45.......and IS adjustable ....i bought my parweld for £20 off of ebay 9-13.....I use a non-reactive mask at work with a 10 for most jobs but the glass can be changed,I don't weld thicker matl much nowdays .....that bucket would have to be very cheap......do you just want a skull bucket Silver?

er it's not fixed shade it's an auto with a 180% lens would be hard to get bit for over this side of the pond
