Saying Hi and wanting some advice.

Hi Guys, just wanted to say Hi, i'm a new member and I've joined the forum to get some advice from the people who know.

I'm wanting to train to be a fully qualified welder but i'm being very wary about what course i sign up to as some of the courses I've been looking at are upward of £2000. What qualification should i be looking to be finishing with and have any of you done these 10 day or 6 week courses at training centers?

There are some expensive and possibly dodgy training providers out there so if you find something it would be a good idea to run it past the forum members before parting with £££££££'s
