It's been a while since I posted in the 3D section about modding the vice the Scheppach vice came with. Basically I got rid of the awful slide/cam lock thing. Then got my lad to measure and print a "carrier" to hold an M12 hex extender:

It slots in like this:
There's an M12 square washer either side. One side has an additional M12 FR washer:
Knocked up a two piece T nut, need to revisit and fit two countersunk M4 bolts:
The screw is only M12 x 1.75 BZP studding. A bit of M16 stainless would have been better:
There's a nyloc at the back and a full nut in the jaw recess, both nuts are drilled and roll pinned to the stud:
Still got to sort a handle!
