Scrap pile projects

Her is a couple of things I made out of my scrap pile a pitmans purdy aka catapult this is a design I've perfected over a good few years. I used to take the odd bit of game with these but cans are the main quarry now.
The little axe or scrapchet as it's known made from 6mm mild steel with an inch of carbon steel welded for the cutting edge and the body welded to a pipe for the eye. The end of the shaft is drilled for a fire steel complete with home made leather mask. The handle incidentally is from off cuts of Ash that is supplied to Morgan cars my mate in Lincolnshire got that for me.
