Screw compressor started wrong way

Just hooked up my screw compressor, started fine and was running unloaded for a few minutes and no unwanted noises. I then switched to loaded and there was nothing... i then seen oil leaking from between the screw air-end and the motor and dripping out the air filter, i quickly realized that the motor phases were wrong stopped the machine and switched it round.

seems to be working now with no oil leaks present and pushing air now.

Any Compressor Experts that would be able to tell me if any damage could be done by running the compressor in reverse.

Compressor is an old Ingersol rand SSR

If its producing air at pressure its fine, just check oil levels... and sort the inlet filters out

probably just screwed the oil back over and out of the filter. just top the oil level up and it should be ok. as above change the air filters

Thanks Mike, not got it hooked up to the air receiver yet... at the moment its just blowing out the discharge port. Oil is low now so need to get some, looks expensive though as it says it requires IR Ultra.
