Scuffing epoxy primer for 2k top coat

I have painted my engine bay with Lechler 2k Epoxy primer and have seam sealed everything up.

I need to key the epoxy to take a black 2k acrylic top coat. What should I use to key the epoxy with? I was thinking a red scuff pad?

Little coarse mate. Red is 400 Grey is 600. 600 best for top coat.

I thought that 400 dry is what's recommended for prep for topcoat?

I thought this as most of the high build primer spec sheets say:
Wet = 600-800
Dry = 320-400

If I was to treat it like any other primer, wouldn't 600-800 dry be too high? As most of the high build primer spec sheets read something along these lines:

Dry = 320-400

i always did 400 dry or 800 wet ...could go a tad coarser on white

It's always worked for me, painting stuff is often down to personal preference, what might be fine for someone painting dailys would not be good enough on the type of cars I do.

Yes the yellow, I also use Mirka as well
