Sculpture / trophy thing help

[Spark plug]

I have been asked by my boss to mount this machine part to make a sculpture / trophy type thing. But as I am about as artistic as an elepha

Something like this?

Arms same length as the body, legs a bit longer. Arms and legs a bit thinner than the body.
I think the head starts off same length as the body
You can get away without fingers and toes, just weld the barbell onto his arms and stick his legs into a piece of wood.
Simple, easy to make and effective.
To get the posture right go through the movements yourself, just make sure you are not being watched as you will look as though you have gone mad.
I always do this when making sculptures of people.
Any good?

I would have gone for a hand to wrist with the hand griping it and the wrist mounted to a base.
Is it part of a printer/ copier by chance ?

It does look like a set of dumbbells, chunkolini's wee man holding it in a weight lifter pose would suit.

Last second thought, see if you cana manage a slight curve along the spine, it just looks more life like.

I've haven't got any of them fancy tig things, just got to stick with cave man technology.

I had a Tig thingy and sold it years ago. Mig and brazing is all I do.

Brilliant, that slight curve makes such a difference.
Nicely mounted as well.
Your boss had better appreciate it or he goes on my list as well.
The hands and feet work really well. Are they just ground flat and bent?

No I heated them and beat them up with a hammer, then bent yes.

Wow, I love it, he looks so lifelike . I'm guessing he's about 17" tall but it's hard to tell without the workshop mug.
