Seaferns priject

Next project on the go.
A bunch of Seaferns based on the illustrations of Ernst Haeckel a fabulous artist.
To be mounted on a wall by my customer
They are about 1.8m tall and made of 15x5mm mild steel strip.
I'm pleased to have got them looking so soft and delicate. They are neither soft or delicate.
I can reccomend anybody looking for inspiration in the arts to check out his book Art Forms In Nature.

Another creation that I admire Chunk, I wish I had that artistic ability to see beauty transformed into metal.
At least we have one thing in common I was born in Swansea lived up by the round school then Sketty has not helped though
