sealer over por15

just done some welding to sill and floor pan, is it Ok to seam seal over por15, dont really want put sealer in the gap if there are rust spots.

which way is best-or doesnt it matter.

yeah it should be fine once cured..nothing much touches it once its gone off

having said that i dont like por15 much
