sealey 150 torch

firstly "Greetings to all members and i hope you are all well "

now to my problem! i have just purchased a new wirefeed gearbox for my sealey mightymig 150 ,which i have now fitted but i inadvertantly took of the torch and i have lost the bit of paper which i wrote down what goes where and i do not know which of the two wires (1 blue and 1 red ) go to which connector .There are 2 connectors 1 goes to the trigger and the other goes to what seams like the gas solonoid i connected them as i thought they had come off but nothing happens when i press the trigger? I would be gratefull for any help anyone can give me with this problem , cheers

have you tried swapping them around? If there are only 2 connections you only have 2 chances

will this not short out the welder ?

if you have 2 wires and 2 connectors there are only 2 possibilities. If it doesn't work the way you have it then the only other way it can work is by swapping the connections over. Unless you have blown something by connecting them wrongly to begin with

Hello Tad,
I am no help to you but I could do with your help...!. I just bought a old Sealey 130 with a new unfitted torch. I cannot fathom where to connect it to, would you be willing to email me some pictures of your 'internals' so to speak....? Unfortunately I have no idea where the wires go, having only ever seen the larger euro fittings. cheers
