Anyone have any experience of these? Its from the Sealey Premier Range.
I have been offered one of them about 8 years old with a full commercial service history on it for £550. It has less than 1000hrs of runtime, does not use any oil and it is in excellent condition overall.
They have a 24l internal tank with a belt driven low RPM V Twin cast iron pump. Its quoted as 15cfm displacement which fives a FAD of 12cfm max, 11.1 at 2.5bar and 10cfm at 6 bar which seems pretty good, Its also really quiet at 60dbm which is its big attraction. Makes it quieter than my very quiet Honda Generator.
I intend on plugging it into my existing air system which has a 70l vertical receiver and then into the garage outlets. A also have a high pressure compressor that goes into a 54l bank at 350 bar and that reduces down to 10bar and then into the low pressure receiver for when I need a lot of air, but it is really really noisy hence looking at the Sealey.
Any comments?
