Anybody had experience of using one of these? With a 50 mm dia blade potentially looks to be small enough to be useful for underbody car repairs, but would have to be certain its all its claims to be, with a price tag of £150 could be an expensive mistake. Replacement blades look a bit pricey too at nearly £70

You look like being the guinea pig on this one, let us know how you get on Or do like the rest of us and use the angle grinder, you'll still be dragging an air line round behind it.

Angle grinder alternative

You're right the alternative is an angle grinder but had been looking at one of these because the blade is inline with the body & unlike a grinder its not offset with the gearbox getting in the way.
It looks to be small enough to get in the tightest of spots. Time will tell, see how flush I am next month
