Setup help needed for clean and oiled air

Hello, I’d really appreciate any advice and experience someone may be able to share. I’m a newbie with a compressor and need it for two applications - one needs clean and dry air and I’ve got a breathing air filter. The other is air tools but they need lubricated air.
Do I need two whole setups - hoses, filters etc or is there a more clever way of doing this to save money and duplicated kit? Thanks!

If you really need the lubed air, have an oiler that simply plugs onto the end of your clean air system, and thence to the tools.

You’ll definitely not want to try and use the same piping or hose for both systems.

IMO you only need an oiler if you are running the tools constantly...as in 8 hours a day.

As a hobbyist it will take a long time to rack up 8 hours on a tool so as above....just oil them manually periodically.

As already said, a few drops of oil into the inlet, but I then run the tool for a second or two to distribute the oil Before putting it away.
