Shot blasting tape?

Need to mask off some holes whilst shot blasting the underside of my car and can't seem to find any tape i can actually buy online to do the job. Found Tesa 4344 tape but can't actually buy it.

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great, thanks

I used to use gaffer tape, held up pretty good!, but can be a ****** to get off

Gaffer tape here - leave about 1/2 inch at the end folded over (sticky side to sticky side) to provide somewhere to grip when pulling it off.

I just put spare bolts in threaded holes.

Blasting place that did my scooter just stuffed rag tightly in the holes.

Got loads of gaffa tape so will just use that then. Place that does my powdercoating uses rubber bungs but can't find any of them either.

Same use gaffa tape in an automated blasting machine with. No issues

When I get stuff sandblasted I wrap denso tape around the areas that I don't want blasted. Seems to work well .

me niether ive done them before for people that didnt take my advice . even doing them with lower pressure and using that fine sand u arent allowed to use it lets the stress out of the metal and warps pannels underneath and sills is about as far as id go

It's for the underneath, about 80% of the underneath is prepped there's a few corners I can't get a grinder to so gonna blast it to get the crap off before it's primed and undersealed. Flip blasting the panels lol.

I'm hoping you just got your terminology wrong mate, shot blasting is done with large shot, sand blasting is done with fine sand, media blasting is done with media.
If you shot blast a floor pan it will either warp badly or if your too heavy handed will end up in holes

Gritblasting is the term you're looking for.

At the foundry there was a shot cabinet for castings which used cut wire shot. One bright spark put his pushbike frame in for 2 minutes to strip it for painting. When it came out it was lightweight (lace curtain style) to say the least.

Yeh just using the wrong terminology, i'll be blasting with grit.
