just rebuilt my road tow compressor and works perfect . got 16 bags of grit cheap but its a bit larger than I normally use .120 to 1.70 mm . filled the pot up with the grit all the gear set up outside and got started. warmed the gear up for 5 mins and away it went 2 mins later blocked up a few bats and still blocked . I took grit valve to bits cleaned out and started again 2 mins and blocked again the trouble being the size grit wont run through the sand valve its only designed for .75 to 1.25 grit . so all I will do at the moment is change it to a half inch ball valve and run the heavy grit till its used up then change the valve back as its a better design and less trouble with blockages. will see how it goes on sunday
