Shredder motor

Hi all
I have a use for this old shredder motor.
The control pcb was blown and managed to get another of the same shredder with a knackered gearbox so swapped all the good mechanical stuff from mine with the good electrics from the other to get one good shredder.
This leaves me with this motor and no controller
I believe it to be an ac motor but what do you guys think?
How do I test it and how do I wire it up just to make it work?
It has 4 wires coming out of it
Blue,red,white and a yellow
The red and white have continuity and so do the yellow and blue
But not with each other.
Hope this makes sense all I want to do is run the motor with an off/on switch or contactor. It had the abilty to go in reverse too, is there a way to wire it to do that?

I forgot to mention I think it had a capacitor wired in somehow to the white wire with all 4 wires going back to the control board
I’ve attached some pics of the board
It won’t light up when plugged in with no obvious signs of a problem

No worries I got it working with a little trial and error
Turns out the 2 windings are wired together in parallel and if you switch one set of windings around it goes the other way a bit like in the drawing below

Just had something similar, looked on the web and lots about reversing single phase motors. Four wires, just a swop. Three wires, more tricky, as you have to dig around inside.
What wattage is it? Just building a shredder and choosing between a 4HP single phase motor and an ex mower 10hp petrol one. Local B&Q has a shredder that looks OK, with a 'Honda' clone at 6.5hp

Some of the smaller AC 3-wire motors are easy, there's a capacitor across the "two ends" of the winding, neutral goes to the middle and switching the live from end to end reverses because the capacitor does the phase shift from one to the other - things like electric awnings use 'em, though they also have limit switches in the live feeds

It’s 2800watt motor with a planetary gearbox.
It’s a serious piece of kit as shredders go hence why I repaired it rather than buy a new one.
