Sievert torch

I have Sievert torch handle with M14 RH fitting on the end.

I also have propane tank with Wescol Flashback arrestor with 3/8 BSP LH fitting.
I normally use this gas bottle and arrestor for oxy-propane brazing, but occasionally would like to connect the aforementioned Sievert torch, but...

Original Sievert hose, although 3/8" don't seem to fit very well on the arrestor - the shape is different from typical BSP fitting:

on the left Sievert, on the right BSP, both 3/8" LH

What's the best solution? (I don't want to use two separate bottles or two separate arrestors/regulators)
Can I get M14 to 3/8" BSP propane hose? (don't seem to be able to find one quickly)

how about cutting the pipe and using LPG quick release fittings? I use them with my Sievert torch, hoses and 3 way fridge (like these below)

Didn't think about it... I suppose too bloody obvious thank you!
I guess you use them with hose clips rather than jubilee clips?
Can I use hose clips with regular pliers or do I really have to have "proper" ones?

One more question - my hoses are 6mm ID, and the coupling is for 8mm hoses???
So you guys must be using different hoses?

I suppose I could (now that I have cut the hose anyway...) get Tail 1/4" for 2/8" nut and 3/8" nut.
Assuming I will be doing the swap infrequently and don't mind doing it - this seems to me most cost effective and simple solution?

Checking an old catalogue - they seem to recommend either 5mm or 8mm hoses.
