Silicone hose and mineral hydraulic oil

What's the worst that will happen if I mix silicone hose and mineral hydraulic 46 oil? I cannot find fluoro coated silicone reducers so am left with standard silicone hose to make up some pipework - the kind used on rads and intercoolers

No problem other than it can implode when hot if drawing through filters/strainers. Short joiners between steel pipes will be fine.

Great. I suspect with what I have in mind, it will just be joiners. The only section that will be a run with oil in it can be done in 1.5 inch fuel hose.

I've had a silicon elbow fail taking hot oil from a turbo between two steel pipes - took a few years. Didn't spot it as first, so assumed the lower sump gasket was the cause of the oil bathed lower half of the engine.
