I have decided to spruce my back yard up and make a showcase for urban outdoor art.
I painted the battleship walls blue and tore down the revolting 'decorative' blocks in the back wallto replace them with something more interesting.
my plan is to make custom wall screens or fance panels based on people's interests.
so here we go, two panels inspired by my paragliding habit.
First one is inspired by the Brecon Becons, the second by a photo I took 7000ft over lake Annecy in the Alps.
I am aware the 100mm rule but figure they are backed with bamboo and it's my yard!
Panels are made of 20 and 15x5mm strip. Painted with rusting paint. A finish I have been dabbling with for a while. Good stuff and gives a nice finish.
Sort of Brecon Beaconsy
Ahh look leedle pilots.
A scene from Lake Annecy looking up the valley
The photo that inspired the alpine screen
What am I playing at acting like this?
The pair of them with nice shiny wall
