Hello
So time ago a friend gave me an inverter welder to attempt a repair, but the Mother board is burned.
It have a hole under igbt s location so we can not repair it .
I have put it a part, and I forgot to give back to my friend, but he also forgot to take it so....
He had no time to take back the welder, i allways forgot to take it to him so .....
Now the sad thing
Unfortunally on august 31 he is dead, was fighting the cancer since a month.
I think that is my duty to make the machine work again also to have my friend allways whit me in my welding adventures.
Now the problem is that the Electronic board is not aviable because is one of first inverter welders (i think 1998 or nearby)
I was thinking to buy a welder on ebay and take the boards and put them into the case of my friend one.
There are two big inductors which i would like to mantein in to.
Now the serius part, how you see this project?
It's possible or ill trash my money?
