Does anyone have a uk supplier of 4mm
sintered bronze

When someone says sintered bronze to me, I think of Oilite material (i.e. oil impregnated). This is available in solid bar form. HPC bearings have it but the smallest size they list is 1/4". Check the manufacturer's site to see if available in smaller metric size.

thanks for the heads up but I’m specifically looking for sintered bronze

I can only find two people that sell it in the size we are after for work

They have given me a quote but typically it’s too small for what we want!!

our current supplier has a shipping time of 22weeks…

sadly they don’t stock sheet

he did recommend a company in Bedford, turns out they are a few minutes from where I’m sitting!! Hopefully they call back with an answer

Not as diffused but does the job for me. Certainly works well on titanium

The shorter sintered piece will work with a small baffle and part redesign
Iv spent almost all day emailing or calling people to chase it up

For that application, have a look for 'sintered bronze filter'. Used a lot on pneumatic gear as a silencer.
