size welding jacket?

What size welding jacket did you get?
Will buy online and they only tend to list sizes as medium to 3xXL

Im 5' 8" I guess id try large but I thought it best to ask how theirs fits.

I'd go on chest size not height unless 5' 8" is your chest size in which case I would go for the biggest they sell Large is usually about 44" chest in most things I've bought.

Hold on, gets tape measure. With my moobs, My chest comes to about 40. But id assume Id want bigger than that so I could wear it over overalls.
So yea if large is 44 inches should be enough end play.

Im a skinny fat guy.. or a fat skinny guy.. My clothes all vary so much. some are small, some are medium some xl.. so I can never just pick a size and know its gonna fit.

I'd probably go large then, better to have a bit more room than to feel restricted.
Let's face it, you're not buying it to look good in it!

Different manufacturers have different chest size on large. So its better to see chest size. The welding jacket that Tizaro has from Miller Electric fits chest size 46 in and another manufacturer NSA has 48 to 50 in chest size on large size.

If we are talking about chrome leather ones I have a couple of mediums and they are sloppy on me but I am a racing snake with a 36" chest!

Just a thought, but why not walk into your local friendly welding supply shop and ask to try one on for size?
