Setting up 100 ltr tank with 2" bore BSP outlet. (Was reduced to 1/2" bore BSP, removed with heat and large hammer)
Looking to tee off to blast cabinet and garage pipework, which will be 1" bore BSP plus 22mm copper & stainless (because I have lots of salvaged pipe and compresion fittings )
With a view to the future, and a larger output compressor , should I tee off at 1.1/2 bore BSP or is 1" bore BSP sufficient. Will probably tandem another 100 ltr tank to above.
While standardising with 1" bore BSP is easier/cheaper for future reconfiguring I do not want to create a restriction at the tank. Valves will be full bore.
Your thoughts appreciated.
