Small air grinder

Having bought a compressor I need to make use of it, so am looking at getting a small grinder for doing the fiddly stuff, but what to buy?

PCL do a couple of 2” ones, APM500 and APT905, the latter is being phased out to be replaced with the former, though the APM 500 consumes 241 L/min whereas the older one uses 48 l/min? Neither take Roloc discs.

What else is out there that anyone can recommend?

Are you sure that’s correct? big difference 241Lpm to 48Lpm I know that’s what the web site quotes, but I wouldn’t have thought 48Lpm would have done anything.

Having wasted an hour looking at 50mm grinding and flap discs which seem to be hard to find, am I better off going for a roloc compatible grinder?

In my restoration work I tend to use a 90 degree die grinder with a 3” roloc pad for the fine linishing a 115mm grinder can’t do and a 75mm pneumatic cut off tool for tighter grinding/cutting jobs.

I mostly buy 75mm roloc discs and when the edges are worn they can be trimmed down to a fresh edge and used again on a 50mm backing pad.

90° cheap air grinder with a roloc adaptor from ebay has done me for 5 years.

just moved over to a milwaukee m12 version to step away from air.
