Small scraper

i got this small triancle scraper years ago in a box of randem tools:

I never seen one like it, only ones with handles. It's a very usefull thing and my go to de-bur tool. I could do with some more as it would be nice to leve one on the mill and the lathe. Also I'm terrified I loose it.

Dose anyone know ware to buy them?

That's known as a bearing scraper, any high class tool merchants should stock them, though bearing scraping is a dying art.

I have a couple somewhere I made about 40 years ago from old files with the teeth linished off, a triangular saw file, and a small half round, on one end a point like the ones shown and on the other a notch ground in, useful for scraping the burrs from holes inside box section,

I've seen scrapers made from files before at auto jumbles, never tried to myself tbh.

That would be easy to make from silver steel. Make the basic shape, grind it hollow, heat until it loses magnetism quench in water then stone the cutting edges. No need to temper you want it as hard as possible.

Scrapers are easy to make from old files, and a grinder, keep dipping it in water to stop it ruining the temper.

Wet stone the cutting edges.
