Small socket head screws.

What are these screws called.
They are either socket head screws or domed head.
They have a course thread (like a self tapper) but without the sharp point.
Mostly used in plastic and used in pre drilled or formed holes.

I guess you could call them "self tapping screws" for plastic. Some catalogues list them as "Thread Forming Screws for Plastic".

They are known as body bolts or screws.

Don't think I've ever seen one with a hex socket...Pozi or Torx yes.

As I said, not seen a blunt one with a hex socket. Cue somebody now finding one...

I had 2 in the AMS holding the top to the bottom. Sadly I lost both of them. If I find one I will photo it.
I thing I have seen them on cars before but several sizes up.

Those self tappers will do the job....but saying that 2 x 3mm machine screws hold well.

No mate. Lost both bolts which is why I asked for into without photo.

Similar. But have a feeling the ones I lost were slightly tapered.
