snap on 160 earth wire problem,please help

Hi everyone
I need a little help,I've just bought a snap on pro 160 welder and the previous owner has removed the earth wire from the machine,can anyone on here show me where the wire needs to go,as I'm not sure,but would hazard a guess and say it needs bolting to the lug just visible below the yellow cables
Any help would be much appreciated

See the hole on the aluminium plate on the rectifier next to the fan? That's where the earth terminal goes.

Exactly the lug on the bottom of the rectifier. good time to fit a DINS earth socket too. Just a suggestion. I would. But that would match my other machines, up to you.

I did that my my old sip180 too last time I replaced the earth cable. Ran from the rect to a dins socket insulated on the outer case. Now I can remove the earth cable anytime I want.

Yeah I need to do the same on my Sureweld Monomig 161. Next time I have the side panel off. In fact she must be near due a blow out. Too busy playing with the new TIG.
