Snap on MIG 130 Turbo - Wire Size

Hi Guys,

I bought this MIG the other week and at present it has 0.8mm wire installed however I want to put 0.6mm wire on.

Most guides seem to say the wheel is reversible or has another with the unit but mine only came with one that is installed and it only has one grove.

Can anyone advise?

As you mention, most come with a double grooved roller, if yours only has one groove then the only option is to buy a new one, probably cebora spare part.

It should be stamped on the side of the roller what size it is.

Worth trying the wire in the roller you have of course, may work ok and nothing to lose.

Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling mine probably does have 2'groves but the other is on the other side hidden as i have not removed the roller completely yet.

Do i need to access the rear side of the welder to so this? I cant seem to find any instructions on removing the roller

I'm pretty sure there's only one groove on that roller so it's used for both 0.6 and 0.8mm wire.

ah ok that's interesting / odd!

I will be getting some 0.6mm wire this weekend along with some crap metal. I want to practice with this CO2 I have to see if forking out the near £100 for argoshield is needed.

Only one groove. It works fine for both sizes.
