Snap on Promig 170s

Hello all,

I have just bought a used Snap On Promig 170s, came with some wire and a brang new BOC regulator. I paid £250 for it. Is that a good price?
Anyone with any coments about this make and model.

I would think its a stickered Cebora........if so not bad.

I think thats a re-badged Cebora. Made in Italy, a decent mid range small welder. Parts are plentifull either from Weldequip from this forum or on ebay should they be needed.

Snap(on)! My Cebora version, I'm extremely chuffed with it and I paid £300, so you got yourself a bargain!

Looks as if i has been either dropped and/or trod on as it has insulting tape round it, id prefer to replace it

Fair enough. Looks like it will clean up well. I paid £250 for a castomig 160c,
Which was a good price, so i would say you had a good deal.

so is this the same as a BOC 170 MIG as ive herd boc stuff is cebora underneath, as im thinking of getting one for mobile bodywork. they cost about 490 pounds new.
