snap on welding helmets

ive been looking at the snap on welding helmets

does anyone use one? are they any good or overpriced?

Pretty much guarenteed to be overpriced, probably EXTREMELY overpriced i would have thought... http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/tools.asp?tool=all&Group_ID=675744&store=snapon-store all of 'em are sourced from China by the looks of things, not necessarily a bad thing of course but they look to be priced as though they were top of the range models from the likes of Speedglas (Sweden), Optrel (Swiss) or Jackson (US). Guess those Snap-On stickers are expensive

Snap on helmets are not worth the money you could get a decent welding helmet for the same money

But no, not really worth that much money. Plenty of decent ones about for ~£100.
