I am looking at soda blasting alloy wheels and then painting.

it will take coating of eventualy i cant see it being used more than once as its allready quite fine and would need sieving out after its 1st use. but if u think it will do the job give it a go. its only time and money experementing with it personaly i wouldnt bother with it .use supafineI have all the gear, just need to get a vibrating mechanism on the pot. I have been told by an abrasives supplier that if used in a cabinet you can collect and use 6-7 times. I have seen many video's on youtube and other people have suggested that it would take of the coatings on alloy wheels.

The reason why i am thinking of using soda blasting is because it is removes the coating and more importantly does not damage the surface of the wheel. i have used supafine and at times it leaves the surface pitted.

I've used re-cycled Supafine and glass grit without pitting ally wheels.
