Soda or glass?

Advice please - I've been using. Glass for blasting (with a pot) for suspension parts etc. will this media be ok for thin panels? I've been told th at it is best to use soda?

can I use the same pot or will I need something different?

I use glass grit that's been used a few times for a finer finish. You have to be very careful with panels, quite a bit of heat is generated locally when blasting and it's very easy to distort a panel.

If you can dip them in paint stripper first.
