Well as it pouring down all day,thought i'd have a bash in doing something arty,her indoors nephew has got a new house and ask me make something fishy for the bathroom,or to do with water etc,not being the arty type thought why not.
The fish are cut out from some half round pipe,done with the plasma not easy either,am ok on something flat but curve stuff was blinking hard,use a old blunt drill bit for the gills,eyes well you guess,and the not very square frame was a bit of flat bar from the scrap bin,tacked welded at the back.
All in all enjoyed doing it,her indoors likes it as i do see how well it go's down with the nephew,the finish item i want to stay steel bright,but as its going in the bathroom it may rust will have to coat it with whatever the best stuff is.

Play a bit of gas heat to get some blue and gold colour then lay on a tray using spotwelds for eyes so they look dead with crystals for ice. Slip the whole lot on a stall at Billingstgate or Borough Market.
