Some perks to the job. Medical compressors

We do a bit of work in dental surgeries , and I have recently acquired 2 compressors .




Was going to cannibalise it for the air dryer , but it works perfectly , so not much point in breaking it .





This one was thrown out due to a damaged regulator , and one of the motors wasn't running .
There was no oil in one of the motors and the piston was not moving easily . I topped up the oil , freed the piston and it now runs . After emptying the tank, I noticed oil in the water, so that could be how the motor ran dry
For now its running sweet, and it is crazy quiet! No idea what I'm going to do with them , peak scientific one would be great for airbrush work as it's so quiet and won't annoy the neighbours

I can sort of paint.. 'er indoors bought me an airbrush which I have tried for detailing and spot repairs.. as I said I can sort of paint - I certainly haven't the steadiest of hands when I'm struggling..

Imagine my pleasure after an hour of finishing a control panel when my little compressor shut off and went PSSSSST!!!!!..

Ah well it wasn't too hard to clean off and start again :-)

less than 2cfm , I can't really see them being useful for anything else .
