Speedglas 9002v playing up

Had this for 5 years now, and since late its started flashing on and off. There's no fork truck or flashing beacon around my unit so that's eliminated

Changed the battery's as thought it might be them but its not much different.

It only does it when doing tig on low amps, mig and mma is fine which is weird! Tried welding with my as wide open to allow the sensors to actually sense which I know is overkill...

Highway amps on tig and its fine, any ideas guys <3

The two simple ones that come to mind are sensitivity settings, needs to be on 3 or 4 for TIG and/or an ancient/filthy cover glass

Changed the inner and outer lense a few days ago but thinking on, think I'm on 2

TIG on low amps often produces a very stable arc and these autodarkening helmets need the light source to vary in order to keep them triggered in the dark state. Can you dial in a bit of pulse current at say 20-50Hz?
