Spray gun advice

I know some will probably say the likes of devilbess atc are the best,but cash is tight at the moment,so can anyone advise me what other gun to go for at a reasonable price,that produces good results.I have seen sealey ones on the bay for around £26,but not sure about em.

a mate of mine used one of those sealey hvlp gravity guns for a short time he is a spayer by trade and he said for a cheapo gun he was amazed at the finish he was able to get,the reason he used this gun was his lockup got screwed and all his stuff was knicked and he still had jobs in that needed to be finished

I've got a half-decent Sealey, but also an HVLP of theirs which is total pap. So luck of the draw as with any cheapie.
You can get quality bargains, got a Devilbiss for a fiver and a JGA inc post and rebuild parts and spares for 50 notes.

Also depends what you want to paint and what finishes, e.g. flat colours vs candies, gates vs cars... etc.

I use a cheap non HVLP gravity gun with a 1.4 nozzle for most things these days as it's easy to do just a little bit or a whole panel. I just rinse the cup with thinners and blow it through when done and throw it back in the box and it's never given any trouble in about 8 years of on and off use. It runs on 40psi with cellulose thinned at the recommended rate and although I am not the fussiest I have had people compliment the finish straight from the gun. I don't take many pictures but this nosecone was painted with it after I split it in a bump and had to repair it and the shine was so good I had to do the rest of the parts to match.

I have got several guns , Sata , Devilbiss , Broom Wade , but i tend to always use this one , the KPB , Cheap as chips. Mine has taken some real abuse and sprayed everything with the supplied 1.4 cap. I just rinse it through with thinners and chuck it back in the box. Absolute value for money.
