I was trying to spray my car yesterday and no matter how I adjusted the gun I couldn't get a decent finish. I can't get the paint to come out as a fine spray, it is more like lots of blobs of paint which soon turn to runs when I go over it enough times for the blobs to give total coverage.
Instead of the paint coming out in a decent fan-shaped pattern, I was getting an odd shaped fan with more paint to one side and the bottom. I looked to see what was happening to the needle when I pull the trigger and was surprised to see it drops down and to one side. The needle isn't bent, so it must be the gun moving the needle off centre.
Could this be the cause of my problems?
Thanks in advance.
